This sunrise couples session on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City was so much fun! It was a very chilly morning but these two were such troopers out in the cold. It was seemingly a very busy day on the bridge with tons of joggers, bikers, and influencers doing their own photoshoots LOL. But, we had the prettiest blue hour lighting where even the moon decided to make an appearance, and the most gorgeous golden hour light once the sun came up! Kai and Garret were so fun to shoot with and total naturals in front of the camera. We started at the Brooklyn Bridge and then made our way down to DUMBO for some of the most iconic NYC city views. Here are a few highlights and favorites from this couples session, enjoy!

You would never guess that there were hundreds of other people on this bridge, right?! It’s all about the timing!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million times more, sunrise is the BEST time of day to shoot! It’s by far my favorite, at least. The early morning golden hour is always so dreamy, and most of the world is still asleep! If you’re shooting in a touristy spot (like Brooklyn!), it’s an easy way to avoid bigger crowds of people in your photos.
