Sunrise Adventure Engagement Session in Kanab, Utah

This sunrise adventure engagement session with Millie and Xander in Utah was so dreamy! It was about a 45 minute drive from Kanab and about a 15 minute hike to this location, so we had a very early start to our morning. That beautiful morning glow from the sun was so worth it, though! Millie and Xander were so much fun to shoot with because they were so playful with each other and really let their personalities shine through. This session was only about a month before their wedding date, and you could just tell they were so excited about it! We climbed all around the red and white rocks, rolled around in the sand, and even slid our way down some slot canyons for these photos. These locations were breathtakingly gorgeous and I already can’t wait to shoot here again! Here are a few highlights and favorites from this sunrise adventure engagement session in Kanab, Utah!

Sunrise Adventure Engagement

Kanab is only about a 3 hour drive from Las Vegas, so I am ALWAYS down to come here for a shoot! The desert in Southern Utah is honestly just unmatched when it comes to beautiful locations for photos. The variety of different backdrops that we had for photos in this one session was insane!

Our second location was only about a 5 minute drive down the road from the first one. After a quick little walk through the desert, we ended up at this gorgeous slot canyon! I’ve been dreaming of shooting in a slot canyon ever since I first visited Antelope Canyon years ago, and this one did not disappoint.
