The Santorini beach engagement of my dreams! This was a mid-morning shoot which means we were working with harsh light, but luckily this beach had plenty of shade for us next to the rock walls. This was definitely one of the most unique and beautiful beaches I have ever seen! It made for such a unique backdrop for photos while still getting the classic beach shots. The water and the wind were so cold during this shoot but Makayla and Walker were such troopers out in the elements. Makayla even laid right in the water for photos! She had the most gorgeous silk dress which was perfect for the beachy Santorini vibes. Here are a few highlights and favorites from this Santorini beach engagement, enjoy!
Santorini Beach Elopement
Vlichada Beach was about a 40-minute drive from Oia, as it’s on the opposite end of the island. The drive there was full of local restaurants and bakeries that we couldn’t wait to try after leaving the beach! Obviously, I had to stop for some gyros on the way back to Oia (my absolute favorite food). But first, we stopped at a local bakery for some yummy pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice! Ever since visiting Greece and having fresh squeezed orange juice every single day, I have become just a little bit obsessed. Santorini is by far a favorite destination of mine and I already can’t wait to shoot my next engagement or elopement here!
