This full day Iceland adventure elopement was part of a styled shoot hosted by the Elope Academy. I had dreamed of photographing an elopement in Iceland for so long, so I just knew I had to attend! This photo shoot with Izzy and Britton started with some casual photos at the Panorama Glass Lodge, an absolutely dreamy location to spend the night (especially if the northern lights decide to make an appearance). Then, we had some more casual photos at a gorgeous lake and hot spring, before some getting ready photos and an incredible elopement ceremony location. Our final location was a very long drive on some extremely bumpy roads, but the photos and views were so worth it. It’s safe to say that Iceland is one of the most beautiful destinations you could possibly choose for an elopement. Iceland has some of the prettiest landscapes I have ever seen, and so many wonderful Airbnbs and lodges to choose from. Off-Roading Adventure
A casual adventure couples session the day before your destination elopement is the perfect way to kick off your trip! Choose an activity you love (like off-roading) and just explore the area together while getting comfortable in front of the camera.
Getting Ready
Back to the glass lodge for some getting ready photos and a first look! I think the classic black suit paired so well with the Icelandic background for photos. And, the panoramic windows in the lodge made for such unique photos opportunities which I LOVED.

Hot Springs
The hot springs were for sure one of my favorite locations for photos! You would never even know that this pool was packed with other tourists, thanks to a little extra editing. A fun, relaxed experience like a hot spring pool is perfect for the day after your elopement. A morning-after shoot is so fun because you both are stuck in that beautiful ‘just married’ feeling, and it’s the best way to close out your elopement trip and photo journey.
