We had the most perfect spring weather for this wedding at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas. After a few weeks of rain and wind, we somehow ended up with beautiful sunny skies this day. Sammy and Mike came all the way from the UK with their closest friends and family for a group Vegas trip. The whole group was so much fun to hang out with for the day! We started with an afternoon ceremony at the JW Marriott before heading to Downtown Vegas for some fun photos on Fremont Street. Then, we finished with a reception on the rooftop at Carson’s Kitchen. There were some pretty great speeches by family and friends while we were at the reception. Everyone was crying, sometimes from all of the laughter! Here are a few highlights and favorites from this spring wedding at the JW Marriott, enjoy!
JW Marriott Wedding
We started with a quick first look with Sammy’s dad, who flew all the way from the UK to walk her down the aisle! I’m always a sucker for a sweet first look with dads, so I was definitely in tears. Sammy’s dad was such a sweetheart and I could just tell how proud he was to be her dad by chatting with him while we waited. Just look at that sweet smile he has!
As soon as we got to the bar in Downtown Vegas, all of the locals wanted to celebrate the newlyweds with a shot and a toast. People really love weddings in Las Vegas!
After grabbing some drinks and shooting all around Downtown Vegas, we went to Carson’s Kitchen for the reception! We had the whole group up at the rooftop bar on the perfect sunny afternoon. There was live music down below, and everyone got to enjoy a drink during the speeches!
